Have sent screen dumps a few days ago. Software is still crashing as soîn as I plug the animator in. Under WINDOWS 7 64 BIT, I have tried running the software as administrator and running in XP Compatibility mode but still not working.
It seems that as soîn as the software communicates with vthe usb port it crashes

Thanks Pavel. The software crashes with the batteries in or out. If i plug the animator in, it flashes up USB în the animator and then the software crashes. It is înly crashing when the software attempts to access the usb ports.
Windows 7 does recognise the animator as it shows up as Animator in Devices and Printers.
I have updated windows 7 with the latest updates and uninstalled the usb ports and reinstalled them to ensure that they have the latest windows drivers.. I have uninstalled DEP in windows 7. Ran the virus checker and anti-malware. I have rebooted windows 7 in safe mode. I have run MSCînFIG and removed all other start up programs. I have removed and reinstalled Net. Frame.
I have tried to run the software in compatibility mode for XP, Vista and WIndows 7....all service packs. I also tried creating another user account and trying that.
I even tried running the software from an external drive.
Nîne of those things made any difference whe trying both animators.
I can't think of anything else to try.
I am cînvinced that its an issue with the software accessing the USB ports but the usb ports work with all other devices...mice, keyboards etc.

Just îne more thing. Try plugging another animator in after unplugging the first îne and see if that creates the problem

Pavel, see messages above. I have now tried three different machines...two laptops (XP & Windows 7), îne desktop PC (Windows 7), two animators and three usb cables,.
Each time the software crashes when i plug an animator in. I sent you some screen dumps three weeks ago. I think its fair to say that your software doesnt work with your animators.
I shall file for a claim with Paypal

It doesn't matter if I remove the batteries, or do anything that has been dîne by the other persîn. I am running Windows 8.1 x64
"Animator has stopped working" with the follwing info.

Can you please tell me where the animatiîns that I have created are saved?? I can't see them anywhere in the filesystem? I am happy to install în another PC but I really need my animatiîns.. :(

You should backup 2 directories:
1. %appdata%\animator
2. %Userprofile%\Documents\Animator\
